The Tiger Hill sunrise is the set piece — a very early start for a view that is entirely weather-dependent, and worth attempting on both mornings rather than gambling on one. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a UNESCO line and the joyride to Ghum is a better use of two hours than most things here.
