The MEA does not verify your original certificate itself — it authenticates on the basis of a prior state-level check. Which authority does that pre-authentication depends on the document, and each of these has its own route.

How it works
The chain,
in order
The exact route depends on the document and destination country. We confirm the right chain for your case before we start — no wasted steps.
State authentication
The document is authenticated at the issuing state first — education department, Home department or SDM for personal documents, or a chamber of commerce for commercial ones.
MEA attestation
The Ministry of External Affairs attests the state-verified document — as an apostille for Hague-member destinations, or a normal attestation for others.
Embassy (if needed)
For non-Hague countries, the destination embassy or consulate provides the final attestation. For Hague members, the apostille completes the chain here.
Collection & delivery
We check every stamp, confirm nothing is missing, and return the completed documents to you — or forward them where they need to go.

The service
How we run it
Timelines and fees depend on the document, the issuing state and the destination — so we quote them for your exact case rather than publish a number that may have moved. What stays the same is how we handle your originals: collected, tracked and returned with every stamp checked.
Processing time
Driven by the document type, whether state pre-authentication is needed, and the destination mission’s own queue. We give you a realistic, dated estimate for your specific documents before you commit — and flag anything that could extend it. We don’t promise a fixed number of days, because the authorities set that, not us.
Fees
Two parts: the government, embassy or chamber fee, as applicable, and our service fee. Both appear on a single written estimate, with no hidden charges, and you approve it before we begin. Statutory fees are set by the authority and can change; we confirm the current figure for your case.
Pickup & delivery
Doorstep document pickup and insured return across major Indian cities, and secure tracked courier elsewhere. Your original documents are logged at handover, so there is a clear record of what we hold from the moment they leave your hands until they are back in them.
Tracking
One named point of contact and a status update at each stage — state authentication, MEA, the destination embassy where required, and dispatch back to you. If a file stalls at a mission, we chase it and tell you where it stands.
