Yes — Fridays, for prayers. It is the single most common itinerary error we correct, so tell us your dates early.
Is sunrise at the Taj worth the early start?
Yes, without qualification. Fewer people, better light and a cooler queue. It is the difference between seeing it and photographing it.
Train or car from Delhi?
The Gatimaan Express takes about 1h40m and is the better option if your timings suit. By road it is around 3h30m on the expressway.
