Sariska Tiger Reserve, in the Aravalli hills near Alwar, is a dry-forest park notable as the first reserve in the world to successfully relocate tigers after local extinction. Alongside tigers (sightings never guaranteed) it holds leopard, nilgai and the atmospheric ruins of Kankwari Fort and the Pandupol temple deep inside the forest.
