Why Lakshadweep is India’s quiet paradise
Lakshadweep is a scatter of coral atolls with lagoons so clear they look unreal — superb for snorkelling, diving, kayaking and simply switching off. Tourism is deliberately limited and permit-controlled, which keeps it pristine but means it must be booked as a proper package. When to go
October to mid-May is the season — calm seas and the best water clarity. The monsoon closes much of the tourism as the sea turns rough. We plan the transfer (flight to Agatti or ship) and stay around the season.
Good to know: every visitor — including Indian nationals — needs an entry permit, which we arrange as part of the package; capacity is limited, so book well ahead.
