Kaziranga Tour Packages

Kaziranga holds roughly two-thirds of the world's greater one-horned rhinoceros, and unlike most Indian parks the headline animal is genuinely easy to see — sightings on a morning safari are close to routine rather than a matter of luck. It is a UNESCO site of tall elephant grass and shallow wetland on the Brahmaputra floodplain, and it also has one of the highest tiger densities anywhere, though the grass makes them far harder to spot than the rhinos. Elephant-back safaris have been progressively restricted on welfare grounds; jeep safaris across the four ranges are the norm and the better option. The park closes during the monsoon when the Brahmaputra floods it entirely.
